    ​​​A cooperation agreement between the Asharqia Chamber and the Excellence Center to enhance investment opportunities within the Kingdom

    Asharqia Chamber and the Center for Distinguished Residence signed a cooperation agreement to enhance joint work, achieve cooperation between the two parties to support economic development, increase non-oil revenues, develop the economic sector and raise its level of performance, and stimulate the investment environment within the Kingdom.
    The agreement signed by the Chamber’s president, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad al-Ammar al-Khalidi, and the Center’s CEO, Bandar bin Sulaiman al-Ayed, was based on the principle of cooperation and complementarity between the two parties, and the relentless pursuit of common goals on the part of the center is a project that aims to enhance opportunities for Foreign investment and seeks to define the target groups for distinguished residency and motivate them to turn to it, and it meets with that with the Asharqia Chamber, which represents the interests of the economic sectors in the Eastern Region.​

    The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, stated that the agreement resulted in the appointment of a liaison officer to coordinate and implement the work and points of this agreement. Asharqia Chamber, preparing and publishing specialized questionnaires for the beneficiaries and those interested periodically to identify their views and suggestions and analyze these results, in addition to organizing joint awareness and educational activities to explain the advantages of obtaining the distinguished residence that the center adopts. 
    Al-Khalidi stressed that the Chamber always seeks to communicate with all governmental and non-governmental agencies and to create joint work programs that serve the subscribers, raise the economic situation, and the level of the private sector's contribution to the GDP, which is one of the most important goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which is the most important roadmap to reach a better reality from various economic, social and cultural aspects.​​
